• Data platforms

  Raw events are cheap. Reliable tables are not. I spend most of my attention on how data moves, lands, and stays queryable: enrichment, retention, and shapes operators can actually use.

• Observability

  Dashboards are the easy part. The work is collection, aggregation, and alerting that shorten time-to-diagnosis without drowning everyone in cardinality and noise.

• Systems craft

  Go, Postgres, queues, and small services with clear boundaries. I prefer boring failure modes and status you can trust at 3am over clever abstractions that only make sense on a whiteboard.
